Welcome to Season 73 of the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra! Join us as we continue celebrating the United States’ 250th birthday with a new concert of music honoring America and its most cherished composers. You will enjoy an inspiring rendition of America the Beautiful, Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Variations on a Shaker Melody, and Morton Gould’s American Salute. The orchestra is also excited to feature concertmaster Lakeisha Heeringa with a fiddle solo during Frontier Fancies.

Complete your holiday celebrations with the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra! This year’s selection features crowd-pleasers Sleigh Ride and Stille Nacht (Silent Night), Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture, and David Lovrien’s playful medley Minor Alterations. Highlights also include a performance of O Holy Night with a featured cello solo by Susan Lanier.

This is a shorter concert with no intermission, and includes a carefully-selected portion of the full evening concert. The concert is perfect for families and those who cannot make the full concert later in the evening. Tom and Judy Heffron will be handing out Christmas gifts to the children in audience.
